Description

I little profile for an OC for Nightschool. :)
If I'm able to get in.

Full name:

Runae Tyrnea'ghymn

What are they like around people?

She is very shy when meeting new people and will often hide away, listening to music or practicing reading people.
Though with people she is comfortable with, she can be very affectionate and talkative, sometimes saying things without thinking.
She doesn't like unsolicited touching. If someone touches her in any way, without notice or making it apparent they are about to, her claws come out and she swipes at them. She has gotten in trouble for this, often causing wounds to human and non-human alike.

What are their hobbies/interests?

She loves anime of all genres but her favorite is drama and romance. She loves learning about other cultures, loves Video games, and she also loves to read.

What are they planning to specialize in for their studies?

Magic. She wants to find a way to build an immunity to white magic and be capable of using it.
Control Studies. She wants to be able learn to control her shifting and her thirst better.

Do they plan on being part of one of the Specialty Groups (If "Yes" which one(s) will they apply for)?

Any special powers?

She can shape shift, and take on the voice and mannerisms of those around her (if she's studied them well enough).
That earned her the nick name "Ruse" which was a play on the words fox from the french language and deception from English. She knows a few spells, but is not good yet.
She also has glands in her mouth that produce substance that can heal small wounds when mixed with her saliva, that also produces a small euphoric response and minimizes pain in the area. Though only her significant other has gotten that treatment.

Any specific weaknesses?

Light magic and healing magic. She discovered when a dragon mage was healing a wound, that the spot the magic was used on instantly turned black and semitransparent, loosing all feeling in the spot.
The magic healed her, but she temporarily lost feeling and shape in the flesh around there.
Since then she has been very wary of high level white magic.
She also has a "need" for blood that can distract her immensely, if she is in a fight.
Never bring up what she really looks like, EVER.

How do they feel about/get along with other non-human species?

She gets along very well with some species once she gets over her shyness around them, more so with vampires and other shape shifters.

What is their attitude towards humans?

She watches them and is wary of them, especially the males. She has not had good experiences with humans.

What do they feed on/hunt/etc?

She feeds on the energy of living things around her. She also eats human food and has an affinity for blood, but she can't survive on blood alone.

What is their behavior like?

At times she can be very shy and quiet and she prefers to stay far from any confrontations, but sometimes, if provoked, the shyness disappears and she often resorts to insults or cutting remarks in Drow or draconic.
Despite her shyness at times, she does protect her friends and any that seem to be weak in social or physical status to their peers.

Extra notes:
She was an orphan until a few years ago. As of now, she is under the care of elves.
Her bell choker around her neck is not to be removed, it was a gift from the elves, that allows her to find them wherever she is, but unbeknown to her, it also has a rune of tracking so they can track her and is a magic essence dampener. If removed, her form and moods become unstable, resulting in destructive behavior, that has been the reason for her move to nightschool.

Heh, you actually got up the guts to make one of these?
She's interesting. The healing glands would make feeding hard. How does that work?
